“About every genre of modern American music; rock, pop, folk, bluegrass, country, jazz, R&B, hip hop, etc., can be traced back to the music that the slaves created in the 1800’s, now known as the ‘Blues’. But make no mistake, it’s not ‘sad music’ like some people think…it’s actually a celebration of getting through the tough times we all face. I believe these folks, who created this spiritual experience and those who continue the tradition of performing it, should be celebrated - forever !”

The Nevada Blues Festival, founded in 2023, organized by Buttered Popcorn Entertainment and supported by the Las Vegas Blues Society, is a FREE 3 day festival held annually at the World Famous Pioneer Saloon in Goodsprings, Nevada. The festival boasts top musical performers who are all proud to be influenced by the Blues. The festival has a fun atmosphere, great food & drinks, and attended by folks of all ages. Even dogs are allowed in all outdoor patio areas.
